PhD from the Queen's University of Belfast, U.K.

Previous employment

Postdoctoral fellow at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow working on Interaction Analysis in Multivariable Systems for designing Controllable Systems in collaboration with ICI. Also worked with South of Scotland Electricity Board on the development and implementation of real-time controllers.

Research Associate at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh working on a pan-European project on Intelligent Training Systems for Indusrial Environments with in collaboration with Marconi UK, Axion, Denmark, Alcatel Alshthom Reserche, France, Centro Informazioni Studi ed Esperienze SpA, Italy, Iberduero, Spain, Laboaratorio de Ensayos E Invesigaciones Industriales, Spain and Universitat Del Pais Vasco, Spain.
